The Leonie Circle

A monthly community for Catholic moms raising neurodivergent children

Raising neurodivergent kids can feel isolating

especially as a Catholic mom.

You love your children. You see their gifts and challenges and want to support them, but some days feel really overwhelming.

Mass is unpredictable

And family prayer? What’s that?

School is always complicated.

Other moms don’t seem to get it when your challenges come up in conversation.

And all the advice that seems to work for other Catholic families? It doesn’t work for yours.

So somewhere in the middle of putting out one fire after another, making three separate meals for the kids, managing meltdowns and sibling squabbles, and staying on top of your responsibilities and the household, you’re still trying to nurture everybody’s faith.

It feels impossible, and it’s exhausting

But what if you found a community for Catholic moms of neurodivergent children, where you didn’t feel alone. Where you could gather for encouragement, flexible guidance, and easy, no-pressure conversation.

Welcome to the Leonie Circle

Flexible support, guidance, and community for Catholic moms of neurodivergent kids

The Leonie Circle is right for you if:

You don’t need a full overhaul, but you do need support
You want a consistent community you can come back to
You want guidance, but you need it to be flexible

Simple. supportive. Yours.

Because maybe you’re not stuck, but you’re not thriving, either.

And you’re tired of managing motherhood alone.

We focus each month on a topic of interest to neurodivergent families with four options to choose from:

Practical Guidance You Can Use
Each month includes a short lesson on a topic of interest to neurodivergent families. No longer than 20 minutes, each lesson is available in audio and video formats and is designed to be practical, thoughtful, and realistic for busy families.

Conversation with Moms who Undersatnd
Once a month, we gather for an open conversation where members can ask questions, share experiences, and learn in a Q&A format. These calls are not formal coaching sessions. Instead, they provide a space for members to talk honestly about what they’re navigating and receive encouragement from others who understand.

Community Prayer Dedicated to Your Family
Raising neurodivergent children can bring unique spiritual challenges and unique graces. Each month, we gather for a short, simple time of prayer, asking God’s guidance for our children, our marriages, and our homes.

The library provides helpful tools and assistance in applying them in everyday life.

I’m Ginny Kochis, and I’m your Leonie Circle guide

I founded Quirky Catholic Kids in 2017 (then Not So Formulaic) as a haven for moms like you and me: Catholic women raising the unique and unrepeatable; our greatest challenge and our greatest joy.

Drawing from my twenty years of personal and professional experience, I’ve crafted The Leonie Circle into what I needed when my kids were young, because there were so many days I felt alone in it.

A place to call home; a place to learn at my own pace and feel secure in the knowledge that God is with me.

A place to share my challenges and joys without fear of judgment.

A place to raise exceptional children rooted in extraordinary love.
