The Zelie Society

Three month, community-focused coaching. Catholic support for neurodivergent parenting.

Motherhood would require sacrifice – that much you understood.

But this path you’re walking – the vocation for which you’ve been chosen? It feels harder. More isolating. Like you’re building towers on waves of shifting sand. Your kids – and your motherhood, by proxy – are different. Intensely different from those of your friends.

Your friends have kids who sleep, who follow directions and wear weather-appropriate clothing.

You, on the other hand, are practiced in the art of explanations:
– That new clothing styles must come by degrees.
(Yes, I know they aren’t sweatpants. Just five minutes. Tomorrow we can try for 10.)

– That epic meltdowns follow the slightest change in plans.
– That the child who is charming, intelligent, and charismatic with adults is annoying, scattered, and overwhelming to peer groups.
– That yes, that child is brilliant, but there are mountains of struggle with school.

But what if…

This life you’re leading weren’t so isolating?
There were other women out there, like you, ready to make a positive change?
You had access to prayerful support, practical tools, and professional wisdom on a consistent, community-focused basis?

Our focus:

The struggle with impulsivity; scaffolding EF skills, developing working memory; check lists and visual schedules; managing expectations; fostering independence

Maintaining ND and NT harmony; balancing personalities and temperaments; celebrating strengths and identifying areas for growth in a gentle way; sibling conflict and relationships

Tantrums vs meltdowns (in moms and in kids); getting out of survival mode; recognizing and communicating emotions; coping techniques

Signs of anxiety in kids (and grown ups); development of a growth mindset; embracing challenges and viewing failure as opportunity; fostering a sense of gratitude

Communicating needs as a ND/NT woman; what to do when you’re touched out; getting your husband (friends/family) on board with your family’s routines, needs, and challenges

Accepting where God has placed you; fostering positive change in a gentle way; being open to change — conquering a fixed mindset; avoiding negative self talk and the resulting emotional spiral

What to do when your kids won’t eat; peaceful mealtimes; food chaining and division of responsibility; therapeutic options for selective eaters; learning how to let go

IEPs and 504s; homeschooling vs public vs private; evaluation opportunities and the process involved; educational enrichment and extra curricular activities; working with staff

The pros and cons of medical intervention; things to consider when discerning medication; therapeutic options

Sensory needs and the Mass; smart kids and faith; handling sensitive, anxious kids and topics like the crucifixion, sacraments

Ready to Start Thriving?

Our winter cohort begins January 5, 2026

Join the winter 2026 cohort. You’ll stay up to date on The Zelie Society: individualized access to courses, masterclasses, workbooks, toolkits, and, if desired, add-on private coaching sessions with Ginny–all tailored to your specific needs.

Still not sure? Here are some of my most frequently asked questions:

What if we haven’t had an evaluation? Can I still join?
Of course! Neither an evaluation nor a diagnosis is required to join. All you need is a willingness to grow and help your family thrive. Additionally, moms at any stage of life are welcome. Don’t shy away because your kids are “too young” or “too old.”

What happens after I sign up?

After you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome message via the email you used for payment. The message will include the information you need to log in to the course.

How much does it cost, and can I share a membership with a friend?

$100 per month for three months, and your spot in the cohort is just for you. If you’d like to gift a subscription (or receive one as a gift), just check the “This is a gift” option at checkout. If you’d like to join and feel the cost is prohibitive, please reach out to me via email. Let’s chat.

Do you offer refunds?

The cohort requires a three-month commitment, and bonds are formed between the members of the group. As a general rule, refunds are not offered. However, please reach out to me anytime your needs or circumstances change.

When will live coaching sessions take place?

To be decided based on group availability, as I try to choose a day and time that works for everyone.

Meet Ginny

Hey, friend – I’m Ginny, Catholic mom to three twice-exceptional kids. I know what it’s like to raise kids who are wicked smart and creative and oh-so different –

I know what it’s like to feel like a failure as a mother; a stranger in your own skin.

But – and this is important – God is good, and His wisdom knows no bounds. Inspired by the inspiration of St. Zelie Martin and the graces God showers on those He chooses for this vocation, I founded the website Not So Formulaic and her sister community, The Zelie Society, as a refuge and resource for moms walking their own exceptional path in motherhood.

You, my friend, are not alone. You never have been.
