It’s the final installment of the 5 Days of Advent Traditions for Catholic Families.  I’m sharing 25 magical books you’ll want to savor  – a great way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the secular holiday season.

My dad loved books – holding them, sharing them, reading them.  One Christmas, in homage to his East Texas roots, he picked up a copy of The Cajun Night Before Christmas.  Not once did his accurate Cajun twang stumble over the dialect as we were transported to the bayous of southern Louisiana.
